IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) is the internationally recognised body that sets the standard for safe rope access work. Technicians are trained and assessed at three levels, with Level 3 operatives qualified to supervise and plan rope access operations. When you work with Think Industrial Services, every operative on your site holds a current IRATA certification — meaning the people working at height on your structure are trained, tested and accountable to a globally recognised standard.

Rope access comes into its own when speed, access constraints or cost make traditional methods impractical. If your structure is complex, the working window is tight, ground conditions prevent a MEWP, or scaffolding lead times would delay your programme, rope access is typically faster to mobilise, less disruptive to other trades on site and significantly more cost-effective. Our teams can be deployed with minimal set-up time and work across multiple elevations in a single visit.

Yes and this is one of our core strengths. Our operatives are experienced working within live construction environments, coordinating with main contractors, site managers and other trades on site. We produce full RAMS, COSHH assessments and permit-to-work documentation as standard, and our supervisors communicate proactively to ensure our work fits around the programme without causing delays or conflicts.

Our teams are experienced on complex steel structures, high-rise facades, process plant, bridges, and large-span roofing systems.
