Offshore Wind.

Specialist Industrial Trades for Wind Energy Assets.

Offshore Wind Energy

Offshore wind assets operate in some of the most corrosive environments on the planet.

The combination of salt-laden air, high humidity, constant structural movement and demanding O&M schedules creates a maintenance and construction environment where industrial trades, particularly coatings and access need to be specified and delivered to the highest standard.

Think Industrial Services provides specialist coatings, permanent access installation and supporting industrial trades for offshore wind construction and operational projects, bringing the technical capability and sector understanding that wind energy clients require from their supply chain.

What We Deliver

We cover specialist coatings, permanent access, scaffolding and cladding for offshore wind projects.

Anti-corrosion coatings

Coatings to C5 specification, abrasive blast cleaning, zinc-rich primer, intermediate and topcoat systems.

Structural steelwork coatings

Coatings on offshore wind foundations and associated structures.

Permanent access installation

Walkways, fixed ladders, gantries and maintenance platforms.

Scaffolding

Scaffolding for construction and maintenance access on wind energy structures.

Cladding

Cladding and building envelope works on onshore wind substations and ancillary buildings.

Full quality documentation

ITP documentation, DFT records, hold point sign-offs, handover packs .

Why us

Choose Think Industrial Services. Leave no room for a subcontractor specifying to the wrong standard.

The Challenges We Understand

F.A.Q’s

Yes. We specify and apply full C5 anti-corrosion systems, abrasive blast cleaning, zinc-rich primer, intermediate and topcoat — to onshore wind foundations and associated steelwork. Application is fully documented with DFT records, hold point sign-offs and handover packs as standard.

We plan mobilisation, execution and demobilisation around your available window. Asset availability is a live commercial issue for wind energy clients and we treat programme certainty as a core part of our delivery. Not something to negotiate at the end of a job.

Yes. Our teams are self-sufficient on remote and exposed sites. We’re not a contractor that needs hand-holding on logistics, we mobilise with the right equipment, supervision and materials to execute the scope without creating site management overhead for the client.

Full ITP documentation as standard, including DFT records, hold point sign-offs and a complete handover pack. Wind energy clients operate rigorous supply chain and quality management processes and our documentation is built to meet them, not catch up with them.
